It is with great sadness that the family of Susan Marie Hagen Wedberg of Fargo announces her passing after suffering from a sudden hemorrhagic stroke, on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the age of 68.

Susan was born in Fargo, North Dakota on November 8,1948 to Edwin and Sydney (Blount Richey) Schossow.  She graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1966. She then started her career as a teller at Fargo National Bank and went on to become a Financial Investment Broker at Community First Bank where she worked until retirement. She loved her job and interacting with customers.

She was married to Bruce Hagen of Fargo for 12 years and had two daughters Tara Hagen and Mandi Hagen, both of Fargo.  She was remarried to William R. Wedberg Jr. for over 20 years. She spent the final years of her life very comfortable at Bethany on 42nd with her best fur friend Lou Lou.

Susan has touched many people in many ways throughout her life.  Her ability to always see the bright side of life, her quick wit and selflessness, has made her unforgettable to everyone she came in contact with.  She was best known for her unique attention to details and frequent shopping trips to TJ Maxx with Thavon.  She had tremendous holiday spirit and enjoyed sharing that spirit with all that were near and dear to her.

Susan leaves behind her two daughters, Tara Hagen, Mandi Hagen (Ryan Rastedt), and two grandchildren, Lawsen Turner (Tara Hagen) and Ava Volk (Mandi Hagen); along with cousins Steve and Mike Schossow and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Sydney Schossow, and her sister, Verna Schossow.

A celebration of life for Susan will be held Wednesday, April 19th at Hope Lutheran Church in North Fargo.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the funeral at 11:00am.

The family wants to give special thanks to Si and Thavon Latgnotha, the staff at Bethany on 42nd, and all of her caregivers over the years for helping her remain independent in her 30 year fight against Multiple Sclerosis.
