Juel Mueller

Juel Mueller, Horace, ND died on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Juel Everet Mueller was born December 7, 1951 to Werner and Maxine (Christianson) Mueller in Fergus Falls, MN. They moved to Moorhead, MN where he grew up and graduated from high school. Juel joined the US Navy and was stationed in Jacksonville, Florida. After his honorable discharge, he moved back to Moorhead where he worked in commercial construction until he retired in 2013.

Juel married Claudia Hodges in 1982. They lived in rural Horace where he enjoyed living in the country, working outside and in his garage.

Juel had a heart of gold and would do about anything to help a person out, all the time without asking for help himself. That’s how he was.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Claudia; brothers, Lee and Nick (Lynn) both of Moorhead, MN; sisters, Linda (Ron) MacLeod of Park Rapids, MN, Char (Dean) Anderson of Osage, MN, Kim (Randy) Smith of Austin, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

Juel will be missed very much by his family and friends as he was a great friend to us all.

Memorial Service: Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 2 PM at West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo.
