I was so sorry to hear about Dave's passing. Dave and I were very good friends in high school and went to many things together in the late 50's. He was always a very happy person in all the years that I had known him, and had a great sense of humor. I very much enjoyed Dave and Kathy a few years ago now when we had a chance to go out to dinner in my home town in Hot Springs, SD. It was fun to catch up and all that had happened to both of us. He has a beautiful family that I am sure will miss him very much. I know God is with him in heaven, and is with his family here on earth. God Bless you all.

I don't really remember Dave, but I know I met him a few times. What I do remember is how much my dad [Maurice] talked about him and how appreciative he was of their friendship. That group of administrators shared a bond that is unlike any I have seen in my career. They were competitors in some ways, but more so friends colleagues and confidants. Lost my dad in the same way a few years ago. Thoughts and prayers to all of you from the entire Bertilrud family. God bless.

It saddens me to learn of Dave's passing. I completed my Health Care Administration internship under Dave in Roseau. Dave was an excellent mentor and kind man, I appreciated him very much. My prayers and sympathy to Dave's family and I hope your many memories will keep him close at heart.

I was a colleague of Dave's for many years, working as a fellow Minnesota hospital CEO. I always knew him to be a gentle, effective, trusted leader - a great role model for us "younger guys." I very much enjoyed his company, and appreciate his many contributions to our field. You certainly have my sympathies.

This is hard and we are sorry for your great loss. The best is knowing David is pain free and resting. God has a hand on him. May you find comfort in your love and memories. In prayer and love, Bob and Terri

Hagen Family- I will be thinking of you and sending love your way. Mark, you are a spitting image of your father! I know you, Julie, and the girls will continue to make him proud. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.
