We were sorry to hear of Kenny's passing. Shortly after we purchased the property, Greg had the pleasure of meeting Kenny in a very North Dakota way. He likes to tell the story of Kenny pulling in to the farm yard in his old Cadillac while Greg was working in the yard, motioning him to get in the passenger's seat, and how Kenny, without much talking, listened to Greg's story of what we were doing with the property. We weren't quite sure what he thought of us, but we got to know Kenny over the five years, and we looked forward to his visits bearing sweet corn which we swapped for green beans from our garden. I knew we had finally been accepted to the neighborhood when, one day, he came into the winery for a tasting. We are thankful to Kenny for planting the pine trees that shade our guests while they enjoy a glass of wine on our deck. We are missing Kenny right now, knowing he won't be driving up in his old Cadillac with an armful of sweet corn. Steve - please come by the winery sometime and we will drink a toast to your dad.

Steve, we were so sorry to here about Kenny. I wish we could have made it to the funeral but thank you so much for making me a honorary pall bearer. I have great memories of Kenny, my dad George, Jerry Moderow and the two of us farming back in the 70's. Those three were quite the characters, never a dull moment when the three of them got together. I can remember Kenny and I fishing behind our house when the northerns got trapped in the couley when the river rose. Also we fished alot at Godess Dam by Mapleton, not to mention the many times all of us hunted together. I guess those great memories will have to carry us through this time of sorrow. When we pray for George we will add you and Kenny.............Gary and Marty
