I don't even know where to begin...... Chris was an amazing and loving person and a friend to all. Just last week we had talked about hanging out again sometime when I get to Fargo. I know I won't actually see you but I will know you are there.... sure going to miss you Chris.....
"You and I will meet again
When we're least expecting its
One day in some far off place
I will recognize your face
I won't say goodbye my friend
For you and I will meet again"

My deepest condolences... Chris was such a sweet, loving soul who made me laugh until my sides ached. Though we didn't talk as regularly in the last several years as we once did, I will always have such fond memories of our conversations. He is loved by so many, and missed a thousand times over.

I will miss this young man very much--always had a smile on his face and a warm greeting while helping with holding doors open for me while I came in and out of apartment building. Rest in peace Chris!

I worked with Chris at Taco Johns for 4 years and we hung out outside of work as well. He was such a goof and had many days we would leave work with our faces and stomachs hurting from laughing so much. He will be greatly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with Chris Schmidt's family at this difficult time. I went to school with Chris and graduated with him in 97. He always brought a smile to your face and will never be forgotten.

Chris was such a kind hearted, sweet, funny human being. In high school he called me Mary Tyler Moore and we spent time talking about cartoons, art, music. He was a great friend during those years. We lost contact, but reunited on Facebook and I am glad we did. His smile, laughter and kindness will be missed. Prayers and sympathy to his family.

Chris was such a funny human with a beautiful spirit! I think of him fondly for all the nice messages he would send and of course the muppets. I knew you since grade school and my heart is sad you are no longer here. My thoughts to all the people you touched with your humor and big heart!

Chris was such an important part of my childhood. He was a kind, fun person and an incredible friend. I was happy to see that adulthood didn't change him. Whenever I think of Muppet Babies, Scooby Doo, or the freedom and adventure of childhood, I will think of Chris. He will be greatly missed. The world is a little darker without him in it.

Chris was the funniest person we've ever known! For a short time he lived with us when he was between apartments, funniest roommate! He enjoyed my Sunday breakfasts. We worked together at taco John's for 10+ years. Every Saturday we would jam out to home made Cds! His impersonation of Cher and Britney Spears you're the best! He would even moved his imaginary long hair off his shoulder like Cher would do and make us laugh every time. Chris was an usher at our wedding and at the dance him an i danced to "if i could turn back time" he would say i would of asked Sean out before Carrie could! Bahaha! Such a jokester! Chris would also send me scary photos so when i opened my phone it would be a scary face! One time I threw my phone! Haha I called him a yelled I wouldn't be able to sleep for years!!! Chris was a great guy, a good friend and sometimes a wonderful Co-worker (if the customers were not crabby) He will be missed by my family deeply!
