Shirley was a dear sister in Christ. I treasured our friendship and always felt the peace of the Lord whenever we were together. I had the privilege of going to Israel with her and sharing our faith in Christ and praying together. I am thankful that our paths crossed on this side of heaven, and because of our faith in Jesus Christ, we will see one another again. May God bless her family and may she rest in peace.

Shirley was a faithful member of our Primetimers Seniors class at Southwest Church in Indian Wells, CA for many years. She was a fighter against her disease as we were prayer warriors for her. We loved her as she showed her love for Jesus to all of us and others with whom she connected. We have missed her while she has been back in her old digs with her family. But we know that we will see her again at the banquet of believers in heaven with Jesus.

Greetings and my condolences to Chad and family, Chad, I had no idea that your mother was "Mrs. Peterson", my 5th grade teacher at Longfellow. I don't remember much about 5th grade--50 years ago--but I do remember that I liked Mrs. Peterson very much as a teacher. I remember that she made things very interesting to learn--especially United States history. Again, please accept my sympathies. Erik

Our sympathies to Shirley's Family. Remember her walking past our place at Matson's Beach in the summer with her dog and would stop to chat. I was glad to help Shirley with her infusions for a few summers when she was here. She was a good patient even when I had to reinsert the IV sometimes. Very understanding at those times as well. I had some good talks with her. She certainly shared her talents with people in all the thing she did.. Blessed be her memory
