I am so sorry for your loss. May you all find strength in the love and support of family and friends. And may you find comfort in God's promise to end 'all tears, mourning, pain and even death' Rev.21:4. Soon we will see the reality of His original purpose for the earth when we can welcome our loved ones back to paradise -John 5:28,29. Please know that you are in my thoughts and in my prayers.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Darrell, Paula, Angie and Mike's extended family. Mikey Boy had a personality that was larger than life. It was infectious. He could make you feel like the King/Queen of the world. I will miss our talks that often started before sunset and lasted beyond the sunrise.
The only thing that rivaled Mike's personality was his heart. When Mike loved you it was unconditional. Mike was passionate. He loved sports. One could often get a taste of Mike's passion on a snowy Sunday watching the Vikes lose one they shouldn't. I'll always remember Mike's famous/infamous color commentary during a heated game of Tecmo Bowl. QUARTERBACK SACK BY MIKE....was his signature line! I am proud to be able to call Mike Heflin my friend. He enriched my life.

I love you Mikey Boy! You will be missed. Rest in peace brother.

Mike will be dearly missed by so many. He was the best of friends. His personality was a genuine gift. His sense of humor was a talent. Every time I think of him I smile. I still quote him. I was very lucky to have had him as a friend. I miss him. I will continue to miss him. I thank him for all of the wonderful memories; for all of the times I would go home with a stomach ache because his clever, lightning-fast witticisms had made me laugh so deeply. He was truly loved, and by so many. My sympathies go out Mike's family. I hope all of the wonderful things said and written by those who knew Mike will be a comfort to you.

Mike spent a lot of time at our home in his grade school and high school days. Good friend to my son Brett. We have done a lot of reminiscing about Mike these days. All good. Always an excellent guest and very entertaining. I really enjoyed that young man . He will be missed.
Sincere sympathy to his family.

The obituary said you had a "magnificent personality". I think that may be the understatement of the century! You have left so many memories... We will miss you so much. What I would give for one more game of "Tecmo Bowl" with you!

My deepest sympathies! Mikey was one of my first friends in 6th grade when I moved to West Fargo. He was a fun guy always making us laugh! I have not seen him for years and it is a reminder of how short our lives really are. The Class of 94' has always been a rock of support. RIP Mikey you will truly be missed!
