I am so very sorry for your loss! Please find comfort from a scripture I'm sure you have read several times before but is personal to you now.
"And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4) Jw.org

I had the privilege of going to school with Louie in Valley City and wrestling with for the Highliners. He was a great guy. RIP.

Good bye to my friend Louie. Louie always had a smile and a positive attitude that spread to so many people. And he was always good at dispensing good well thought out advice. We are in Mexico so we won't be able to attend the funeral but for sure we will be thinking of Louie and what a great man he was.

I was fortunate to first meet Louie when we were in high school, Louie in Valley City and I at Hope, ND. We met again at NDSU when we both joined the same Fraternity, Sigma Chi. We roomed together at the frat house where Louie was always the "life of the party". I enjoyed watching Louie wrestle for the Bison, every match was exciting even though I knew absolutely nothing about the sport, but Louie was kind enough to explain the basic to me. We both became farmers which we both loved and we were fortunate to reunite the last three years in retirement at the lakes. Jan and his girls, I will miss him dearly but I'm so fortunate to have such a wonderful friend.

Jan and family, I am heartbroken learning of Louie's death. What a wonderful man in so many ways! This world is a better place for Louie's presence in it. His love, kindness, faith, and passion for family and the land has left a permanent footprint in our hearts. May the tender strength of God's loving arms enfold and comfort you as you travel this challenging journey of grief...you are in my prayers. - Love, Libby
