Tanya Kippen

Tanya Kippen, 52, passed away in her home Sunday, March 13th unexpectedly.

Tanya Sue Teschendorf was born February 18, 1970 to Kieth and Diane (Wegener) Teschendorf in Grand Forks, ND. Tanya attended Grand Forks public schools through middle school, then transitioned to West Fargo High School where she graduated in 1988. In 1989 Tanya gave birth to a daughter, Samantha Teschendorf. In 2000, Tanya graduated from NDSU with a degree in Child Development and Family Science. In 2001 she married Robert Kippen and they welcomed a son, Duncan Kippen in 2002. In 2009, Tanya met Jimmy Panek and joined him in marriage October 2021. During their time together Tanya graduated from NDSCS for nursing, becoming an LPN. Tanya enjoyed her time working at Essentia Health where she brought joy to all her patients and coworkers, making friends with everyone. Tanya had a smile and laugh that could change any mood and enjoyed making Scotcharoos and Chex mix for everyone. 

Tanya left behind her father, Kieth (Berta) Teschendorf; Husband, Jimmy Panek, West Fargo; Children: Samantha Teschendorf (Jeff Westberg), Fargo; Duncan Kippen, West Fargo; and Step Children: Kassie (Tyler) Lindemoen, MN; Kyle Panek, FL; Zach Panek, TN; Jacob (Kassidy) Panek, Fargo; Katie Panek, TN.; a sister Beth (John) Kay, KS; and niece, Sara Kay. Step grandchildren: Brieanna, Dallen, Keenan, Roriey and Ryer of MN.

Preceding her in death was her mom Diane Aafedt; step dad Charles "Chuck" Aafedt; mother-in-law Arlene Panek.

Memorial Service: to be held at a later date.
