Skee Greenough

Skee C. Greenough, 54, Fargo passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 - Essentia Health, Fargo, after a sudden diagnosis of cancer (Neuroendocrine Tumors) had spread throughout his body.

 

Skee Chadly Greenough was born February 14, 1966 - Rapid City, SD the son of Linda Kaye Johnson He was raised in New Underwood, SD until 1973 the family moved in Rapid City for a few years before a move to Michigan and Fargo. After graduating High School he attended NDSCS in Wahpeton, graduating with a degree in Welding Technology. Through the years Skee enjoyed his profession of Journeyman, pipe fitter/welder. He held many certifications in the field and met many friends throughout his career. His goal was to become a welding inspector.

 

Skee enjoyed fishing, camping, downhill skiing in the Black Hills before a move to Michigan where the family continued to enjoy the outdoors. The family moved to Fargo where he enjoyed fishing with family and friends. Loon Lake with family and Devils Lake with his buddies. Skee enjoyed hunting deer, ducks, pheasants and geese. Riding the 4 wheeler, and rummage sales on his motor scooter with a friend; he had just purchased a Harley Davidson to ride. Linda and Mike were able to share one ride to the lakes area last summer. He was looking forward to riding to the Sturgis Rally this summer. 

 

Skee had a heart of gold and would help anyone. Always a man of little word, but made them count when he said them.

 

Skee (Skeeter) is survived by his mother Linda Kaye Johnson; step father Michael Coffey of Fargo Brother: Wade (Josie) Greenough and children of Kasilof, Alaska Brother: Rian Khatuna) Balvin and family of Valley Glen, CA Sister: Tara O’Connell and nephew Adam B Grossman III of Fargo, ND.  Aunt Sharon (Clark) Crisman family, Aunt Brenda Johnson and Tim Pellizzer, Uncle Jeff (Cheryl) Johnson family. 

 

Proceeded in death Grandparents: Katharina (Hofer) Johnson and William Johnson of New Underwood, SD.

 

A private release of ashes will be held at a favorite area this summer.
