Ray Valleen, 69, Fargo ND died on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.

Raymond Francis Valleen was born March 3, 1950 in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin to LeRoy and Nadine (Lee) Valleen. He grew up in Lindstrom MN. Ray held many jobs throughout his lifetime.

Ray enjoyed coloring and putting together puzzles with his grandson and watching Troll Hunters with his granddaughter. He was a great painter like his inspiration Bob Ross and known to kick butt in a game of cribbage. He loved to play pool and work on cars with his best friend.

Ray leaves behind four daughters, Summer (Kelly) Kristianson, Fargo; Raymie Valleen, Fargo; Cyndi Schulz, St. Paul, MN; Sonya Nightingale, Lime Springs, IA; a son, Scott (Brie) Valleen, Burnsville, MN; 10 grandchildren, Jonathan, Kennedy, Rylee, Jason, Jordan, JoAna, Carlyne, Scott, Jenna, and Dominic; brothers, Jerry (Sandy) Valleen; Mark (Kim) Valleen; sister, Sue (Bob) Mundt; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and the woman he has shared the last 8 years with, Nancy Blake.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Nadine and nephew Evan Mundt.

No services are to be held.
