Mike Fradet

Mike J. Fradet, 80, Horace, ND died Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Villa Maria, Fargo, ND.

Michael J. Fradet was born on February 5, 1938 in Enderlin, ND to Lawrence and Florence (Drenth) Fradet.

Mike continued the family business of Fradet Fish and Seafood until his retirement.  Mike married Louise Anderson on October 18, 1958 at Hickson, ND and together they raised two sons, Steve and Scott.

Mike enjoyed mowing his beautiful lawn and raising vegetables in their garden. He also enjoyed snowmobiling in the winter when in West Fargo and traveling to Arizona for the winters after he retired.

Mike is survived by his wife of 60 years Louise, of Horace, ND, sons:  Steve (Diane) and Scott (Brenda), all of West Fargo, ND; four grandchildren: Mark (Brooke) Fradet, Brian (Jackie) Fradet, Jenny (Aaron) Field, and Tom Fradet; eight great-grandchildren: Bentley, Harlow, Annika, Brynna, and Connor Fradet,  Alyssa, June, and Laura Field.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

Please, casual attire is appreciated, Mike would have liked it that way.

Memorials are suggested to go to Hospice of the Red River Valley or any other charity of the person’s preference.

Memorial service: Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 11 AM at the West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND with visitation one hour prior to the service.
