Meagan Bauer Obituary

Surrounded by her loving husband and immediate family, Meagan Bauer, 34, Fargo, ND passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Essentia Hospital, Fargo.

Meagan Renae Margheim was born December 26, 1985, in Rochester, Minnesota to Bob and Susan (Benson) Margheim.  She lived in the Minnesota area and moved to Fargo, N.D. in 1994.  Meagan truly lived her life to its fullest. She was always the first one out on the dance floor ready to start the party. Her love for dance began at a young age participating in Just For Kix, through her high school career as a part of the West Fargo Packatahnas winning various titles with her dance team. She graduated from West Fargo High School in 2004.  After high school, Meagan attended the Salon Professional Academy. After using all her family members as her guinea pigs, she earned her cosmetology license.

Meagan was the true definition of a social butterfly. Because of that, it was no surprise she found her calling in a career such as real estate. After all she always said “Strangers are just friends I haven’t met yet!”.  She proudly obtained her real estate license and began to thrive in her field. She always left a long-lasting impression on those she met through her contagious zest for life, chattiness, constant joking, and singing. Not only was she the first on the dance floor, but she was the first to grab the mic and belt out one of her favorite karaoke jams such as “Fancy” by Reba. She married her “big bald arm candy” (her words) Dan Bauer on March 11, 2016 in Cancun, Mexico, a trip where so many memories were made.  They proudly brought their daughter Lennox Jayne into the world on July 20, 2017. It was a joy to see her transform into the role of being a mother. She always said “Lenni broke me” because of all the love she felt for her daughter. She was without a doubt the light of our lives.

Meagan is survived by her husband Dan and daughter Lennox; of Fargo, parents Bob & Susan Margheim, of Mapleton, N.D.; brother Rob (Megan) Margheim and children Chase, Reagan, and Harrison, of Fargo; twin sister Kaila (Kolby) Horning and children Stella and Theo, Mapleton; and grandparents, Bud Benson, of Aberdeen, S.D., Patricia Weitzel, of Evans, CO, and Bob (Melody) Margheim, of West Fargo, N.D.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Irene Benson; cousin, Alisha Arnoldy; and nieces Aubrey and Briley Horning.

Due to Covid, the family wishes everyone to wear a mask.  Also, for those who are taking precautions, the service will be live-streamed through the website of the church.

Also, if everyone could wear something purple, her favorite color,  in honor of Meagan.
