Lloyd G. Heller, 86, West Fargo, ND died on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Sanford Health on Broadway in Fargo, ND.
Lloyd Gustav Heller was born on August 29, 1932 to Gustav and Ludmilla (Zimprich) Heller at their home in Kindred, ND. Lloyd graduated from Leonard High School in 1950 and attended NDSSS. Lloyd farmed for over 40 years in rural Leonard, working 17 winters for Farmers Union LP plant and owned/operated Heller’s TV for 13 yrs. Lloyd enjoyed flying and piloting his own plane, checking out the crops and taking small trips around the area. After farming Lloyd worked as Supervisor for Mallard Seeds for 14 years.
Lloyd was the typical jack of all trades farmer who could fix and repair anything, an awesome carpenter, and taught these traits to his boys. Lloyd served on the following boards, Elder and secretary for Bethel Moravian Church, the Leonard Airport Authority, Leonard Oil Company and Lloyd was the longest serving board member for the Leonard Township serving as the clerk treasurer for 52 yrs.
Lloyd married Dorene Gregor in 1954 and had 3 sons. On 11/5/73 Lloyd met the love of his life Carol (Osmundson) (Sapp) married on 5/18/74 they were blessed with 45 yrs and enjoyed traveling to 49 states and many countries. Lloyd was very grateful for family times together on the farm. After living 82 yrs on the farm, they moved to West Fargo to enjoy the city life.
Lloyd is survived by his wife Carol and children Dennis (Bev), Dale (DeEtta), Kent Sapp (Heidi), Angela Bruer-Balouch (Nasir), daughter-in-law Anne Heller and 11 grandchildren: Briana Brandt (Kelly), Levi (Tia), Jared (Katie), Zach (Katie), Joshua (Jaime), Michaela Heller (Bob Traynor), Ellarie, Brendon (Sapp) and Jasmine, Braxton, Jordan (Bruer) and 8 great grandchildren.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his son David, his parents, brother Leon, and sister Ethel Radcliffe.

Visitation: Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 5 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo.
Funeral: Friday, May 31, 2019 at 11 AM at Bethel Moravian Church, rural Leonard with visitation one hour prior.
Burial: Bethel Moravian Cemetery.
