Flor Melina Avila

Flor Melina Avila was born on April 25, 1994, and at 24 years old passed away on July 15th, 2018 in North Dakota.

She was a devoted single mother of 2, Kayleen and Reeve Avila. She was raised in Compton CA with her 4 sisters and both parents. She moved to North Dakota to provide a better life to her kids. She was a hard worker, a loving friend, a loyal sister and an amazing cool mom. She had no filter and was her children’s best friend. We will always remember her for her humbleness, her playful jokes and her self-confidence. She touched so many lives and really lived up to her name. Flor means flower in Spanish and that was exactly what she was. We saw her blossom in to a beautiful woman that was always eager to grow.

She is survived by her family and friends, her son Reeve, her mother and father, Reve and Maria, her four sisters, Deissy, Celeste, Denise, Mary, her niece Leilani, and nephew Keanu, her brother in law Adam and as she would say SQUAD, Tyrone and Bea. Even though an angel has flown away, she will forever live in our hearts. May she forever dance in paradise.

Ella era una devota madre soltera de 2, Kayleen y Reeve Avila. Ella creció en Compton CA con sus 4 hermanas y ambos padres. Se mudó a Dakota del Norte para brindar una vida mejor a sus hijos. Era una trabajadora, una amiga cariñosa, una hermana leal y una mamá increíble. Ella no tenía filtro y era la mejor amiga de sus hijos. Siempre la recordaremos por su humildad, sus bromas lúdicas y su confianza en sí misma. Tocó muchas vidas y realmente hizo honor a su nombre. Flor significa flor y eso era exactamente lo que era. La vimos florecer a una bella mujer que siempre estaba ansiosa por crecer.

Le sobreviven su familia y amigos, su hijo Reeve, su madre y su padre, Reve y Maria, sus cuatro hermanas, Deissy, Celeste, Denise, Mary, su sobrina Leilani, y su sobrino Keanu, su cuñado Adam y como ella diría SQUAD, Tyrone y Bea. A pesar de que un ángel se ha volado, ella siempre vivirá en nuestros corazones. Que ella baile para siempre en el paraíso.
