Doris E. (Gunderson) Jacobs

Doris E. Jacobs, 88, Fargo, ND died on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018 at Farmstead Care in Moorhead, MN.

Doris Elaine Gunderson was born June 28, 1930 at Devils Lake, ND to Joris and Mary (Morgan) Gunderson of Lakota, ND. Doris spent most of her life enjoying and raising 10 children, 7 of her own and 3 step children. Doris loved the lake life and traveling with her husband Clifford on work trips as far as Guyana, South America. Snowmobiling, bowling, family road trips in the camper and winters in Arizona and Lake Havasu on the Colorado with her senior friend Marcel were also her fun times.

Doris is survived by her children, Mary Jo (Al) Vogel, Paul Grinde, Delayne (Jeff) Watne, Reggie (Candy) Grinde, Jim (Terri) Grinde, JoAnn (Robin Johnson) Gilbertson, Clifford (Kimberly) Jacobs, Steve (Monica) Jacobs, Carol (Kevin Connery) Jacobs and David (Pam) Jacobs; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Lorene Lee and Ruby (Jack Terry) Benson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; twin brother, Kenneth Gunderson; beloved grandson, Dustin Gilbertson; and first husband, Roger Grinde.

Funeral: Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018 at 11 AM at Faith Journey Lutheran Church, 127 2nd Ave. E., West Fargo with visitation one hour prior.

Burial: Horace (ND) Lutheran Cemetery.
