Doris Fuss

    Doris Ella Fuss died Friday, February 16, 2024, at Eventide Nursing Home in Fargo, ND, at the age of 90. She was born April 5, 1933, in Kindred, ND, to Henry and Georgina (Richard) Brunette. She was one of 16 children raised in Wild Rice, ND.

    Doris married Donald Joyce on October 25, 1952. They had 5 children; Duane, Thomas (Lynne), Michael, Genene (Dale) Peterson and Teri Gress. She later married Donald Fuss and had another son, David Fuss.

     Doris retired from the West Fargo school district in 1996. She was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church in West Fargo. She had 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

     Doris is survived by her children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter-in-law, Shelly Joyce and one grandson, James Gress, Jr.

Memorial Service: Monday, April 22, 2024, at 2 PM at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, West Fargo, ND, with visitation one hour before the service.
