Daryl Gene Buss, 50, of Fargo, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 1, 2021, in the presence of his lifelong friend, Rick Klose, and family.
Daryl was born November 19, 1970, in Fargo, ND, to Warren and Elizabeth (Satrom) Buss. He grew up in Kindred and graduated from Kindred High School. Daryl continued his education studying Forestry at NDSU in Fargo.
Daryl married Jill Neros on June 21, 1997, and were later separated.
Throughout his school, Daryl worked with his dad at several service stations that he owned. He went on to work at Shotwell Floral, Knight Printing and was employed at Westfield Ag at the time of his death.
Daryl loved Nascar, hunting and fishing. He had a passion for archery and volunteered at Twist of Fate and Sandhills Archery Club.
He is survived by his mother: Elizabeth Buss; sisters: Sharyl (Rick) Smith & Carol (Kevin) Heggeness; nieces: Mackenzie Smith, Lily Smith & Abigail Heggeness; nephews: Jackson Heggeness and Riley Smith; aunts: Karen Satrom, Jean Stacey and uncle: Rob Stacey; wife: Jill; step-daughter: Brittani (Ricky) Lacko; step-grandchildren: Achilles, Winry, & Asuna Lacko.
Daryl was preceded in death by his father: Warren Buss; grandparents: Lillian & Morris Satrom and Pauline & Otto Buss.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at Peace Lutheran Church in Fargo.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Prayer Service Tuesday, May 4, at the church.
Burial: Bethel Moravian Cemetery, rural Leonard, ND
Memorials are preferred to the North Dakota Bow Hunting Association, Box 374, Bismarck, ND 58502
Social distancing is required at both services.
