Daniel John Hager, 90, of Fargo passed away peacefully surrounded by his family December 18th 2020 at Sanford Health Medical Center Fargo.
Daniel was born November 22, 1930 in Harvey ND to August and Veronica (Braunagle) Hager. He was the youngest of 4 siblings. He grew up on a farm in Harvey, ND and attended a country school. He met Pearl (Werth) Hager and they were married November 23, 1952. They farmed in Harvey, ND until they moved to Ada, MN in 1963. Where they farmed until retirement and moving to Moorhead. Pearl and Dan had two children James and Galye Hager. Pearl passed away in 1997 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Daniel years later met his special friend Gladys and they spent the last 15 years together.
Dan enjoyed his time on the road and spent many years drive truck once leaving the farm, always bring back something fun from his travels for his only granddaughter. When he wasn’t driving he enjoyed, dancing, listening to old time polka music and was always up for a good political debate!
He is survived by his Son Galye (Marian) Hager, Daughter-in-Law Robin Hager, Granddaughter Candace and Special Friend Gladys Nelson.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Wife Pearl Hager, Son James Hager, Sisters Christine Keller, Magdalene Keller, and Brother Nick Hager
