Dan Pergande

Dan Pergande, 61, of Horace, ND, died Monday, January 22, 2018, at his home.

Dan was born April 30, 1956 in Carrington, ND, the son of Frank and Sandra (Lampert) Pergande.  The family moved to West Fargo where Dan was raised and educated. He graduated from West Fargo High School in 1974.  He married Vickie Kopp on September 30, 1977 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in West Fargo.  Dan was employed as a carpenter for a time until attending barber college in St. Paul. He owned Sheyenne Barbers in West Fargo for many years, drove a limo and was a member of the Cass County Sheriffs Reserve.  Dan then became a realtor working with Park Company, Keller-Williams and currently for Archer Realty.

Dan enjoyed working in his yard, visiting with family and friends, watching HGTV, fishing and especially spending time with his grandchildren. He was the official family pool boy and lifeguard.

Grateful for sharing in his life were wife: Vickie; children:  Jade (Jessica) Pergande of Horace and Kelsey (David) Schultz of Fargo; grandchildren:  Mia, Kai, Krew and Palmer; mother:  Sandra Blow of West Fargo; siblings:  Deb (Al) Black in Arizona,  Kelly (Angie) Pergande of Horace,  Kristi (David) Prudlick of West Fargo and Stephanie Bayman of West Fargo;  sisters-in-law:  Terry Nesland of West Fargo and Pat Mendez of Moorhead; brother-in-law:  Bob (Dianne) Kopp of Sioux Falls, SD; numerous nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.

Dan was preceded in death by his father:  Frank; a brother-in-law:  John Kopp; grandparents:  Frank & Leona Pergande and Jearold “Tutor”  &  Mabel Roush.

Funeral Mass:  2 p.m.  Friday, January 26, 2018, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in West Fargo.

Prayer Service:  7 p.m. Thursday, January 25 at the church.
