Cheryl “Sunshine” Schuler, 66, Hunter, ND died on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021 at her home.
Cheryl Lynn Brown was born July 28, 1954 in Moorhead, MN to Lloyd and Dorothy (Kaber) Brown. She graduated from Fargo North High and Moorhead Technical College. Cheryl married Lawrence “Larry” Schuler at Nativity Church in Fargo. They lived in Fargo where she worked at Bethany Homes. They moved to Bismarck, ND in 1980. She worked in a nursing home and was a realtor. She also co-owned Sunshine’s Country Store. They returned to Fargo in 1987. She managed apartments and operated Sunshine’s Quilting. They also started JDR Brazilian Elegance. They moved to Hunter in 2000.
She enjoyed weaving, sewing, quilting, Brazilian embroidery, crocheting and gardening.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Larry; three children, Tina (Pete) Miesen, Lisa (Ryan) McCullough and Jonathan (Amy) Schuler; three grandchildren, Asher Miesen, Reece McCullough and Lance McCullough; siblings, Ronald (Eleanor) Brown, William (Linda) Kaber and Joe (Wanda) Omodt; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Teresa Ledbetter and Judie Brown.
Visitation: Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021 from 2 to 4 PM with a sharing time at 4 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo.
Funeral Mass: Monday at 11 AM at Nativity Catholic Church, Fargo with visitation one hour prior.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo
