Beverly Jennings

Beverly Rae Jennings, 81, of West Fargo, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Sanford Palliative Care in Fargo.

Beverly was born July 25, 1937, in Redstone Township, Fayette County, PA, the daughter of Clyde and Cora (Finfrock) Moore.  She graduated from the Jefferson High School in Jefferson, PA.  Beverly was employed as a telegraph operator in Jefferson and as a secretary in Clarksville, PA.  Beverly and Delbert Jennings were married on July 1, 1956 in Clarksville, PA.  The couple lived in various states during Delbert’s tour with the Air Force.  They spent 13 years in Minot, ND until moving to West Fargo in 1974, where she was employed for a time at the Good Year Distribution Center and 20 years as a secretary at Camp Fire Boys and Girls in Fargo.

She and Delbert enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, and motorcycle trips all over the United States.  Beverly especially enjoyed flying with Delbert in their plane to Florida and Seattle.  Special times included visiting with her neighbors, flower gardens and her sitting in her swing.  Beverly was a member of Faith Journey Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxiliary, West Fargo.

Left to cherish her memory is husband:  Delbert of West Fargo;  sons:  Del (Eva) Jennings of Henderson, NC and  Dick Jennings of West Fargo;  grandchildren:  Aldo Jennings,  Desiree Jennings,  Melanie Jennings, Brittany Jennings, McKaley Jennings and Luke Jennings;  great-grandchildren:  Sabrina, Alexia and Tyrion;  sister-in-law:  Sarah Moore of Atlanta, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Bill and Jim Moore.

Funeral:  2:00 p.m.  Friday, November 9, 2018, at West Funeral Home in West Fargo.

Visitation:  An hour prior.
