Bev Dullum

Bev Dullum, 85, Gardner, ND died on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Sanford Long Term Care in Hillsboro, ND.

Beverley Yvonne Gunderson was born Dec. 4, 1937 at McVille, ND to Harry and Florence (Wold) Gunderson. She graduated from Tolna High School and moved to Gardner, ND to work at her aunt and uncles café. She soon met the love of her life Don Dullum. Bev and Don were married on Sept. 7, 1958 at the American Lutheran Church in Tolna, ND. They made their home on the farm West of Gardner where they raised their children.  After the kids were out of the house, she attended Moorhead Tech for office management. She kept the books for Don’s road grading business.  She also did painting with Karen Westrick and worked part time at the Argusville school as a janitor.

Most of all Bev was the family matriarch. She enjoyed watching the MN Twins, bowling, needle point and a hot cup of coffee. She was a member of the Wonder Homemakers Club and Birthday Club. She was also a member of the Congregational Lutheran Church in Gardner where she taught Sunday school, was a member of the ladies aide and loved to sing. In the spring and harvest time, she would often bring food to the field for family.

She leaves seven loving children, Dean (Sally) of Harwood, ND, Dawn (Ernie) Nygord of Fargo, Brad of West Fargo, Dwight (Sara) of Fargo, David of Gardner, Derek (Cindy) of Hillsboro, ND, and Brett (Tracy) of Gardner; grandchildren, Christian, Kaia, Aaron, Suzanne, Nadia (Nolan), Jared, Samantha, Stephanie, Brenna, Andrew, Abigail, and Carter; siblings, Shirley Skauge and Harry “Corky” Gunderson; and many nieces and nephews.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don; son, Brian and siblings, Donna Halvorson and Jerome “Pete” Gunderson.

Funeral: Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2 PM at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Hillsboro, ND with visitation one hour prior.

Burial: Gardner Cemetery.
