Alanah Barnett

Alanah Grace Barnett passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, after having a medical emergency related to her lifelong battle with asthma.  She was only 9 years old.

Alanah was born on January 14, 2013, in Fargo, ND.  She was known for her fun personality that would light up a dark room, with her contagious laugh followed by that beautiful smile.  Her care and kindness for others was flawless.

She had many silly faces that would also brighten anyone’s day.  Her love for animals was shown through her imagination and many drawings that she would create.   She spoke through her music with most of her favorite songs being emotionally deep and connected to her in some way.

Alanah was a creative little girl in many ways!  You would most often find her building, creating art, drawing, singing or dancing!  She loved to be outside with her sister and mom where she felt most free!  She loved playing on her skateboard, and riding bike.  Her dancing and kind soul will be forever missed by her many friends and family.

Alanah is survived by her mother Alicia (Jeffrey Coulter) Barnett; her siblings Annika and Malachi Barnett, Aurora Foster; and many friends and family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 11 am at Hope Church in Grand Forks, ND.   Flowers for the service, or condolences for Alanah’s family can be sent to Hope Church, 1601 17th Ave. S, Grand Forks, ND 58201
