Virginia Bayley

Virginia Lee Bayley, 91, San Luis Obispo, CA, formerly of Page, ND and Fargo, ND, died April 15, 2018 in San Luis Obispo, CA.

Virginia Lee Strain was born on January 9, 1927 at Page, ND to James and Ethel (DeVoss) Strain.  She graduated from Page High School and Moorhead State College.  Virginia taught elementary school at West Fargo, ND and Rothsay, MN.  On February 6, 1952, she married Warren Bayley at Detroit Lakes,MN.  Upon retirement, Warren and Virginia moved first to Fargo and then to San Luis Obispo, CA.

Virginia is survived by one son, Keith (Sylvia), Bismarck, ND; three daughters, Carolyn (Keith) Peters, Paso Robles, CA, Nancy (Michael) Froiland, Fairfield, CA, Amy (Rick) Darby, Wimbledon, ND; a brother, Loren (Margaret) Strain; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Lee; one brother and seven sisters.

Funeral Service:       Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 10:30 am at West Funeral Home, West Fargo with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Interment:       Page Cemetery, Page, ND.
