Lorna Van Dyke

Lorna Van Dyke, age 75, of West Fargo, ND, died peacefully Thursday, November 14, 2019, with her sister by her side, at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND.

Lorna Faye Van Dyke was born July 9, 1944, the daughter of Frank and Henrietta (DeVries) Van Dyke, of rural Ypsilanti, ND. 

She lived many years at the Developmental School in Grafton, ND, followed by a group home in Jamestown, ND, and the last six years at Fraser 10 group home in West Fargo. 

Lorna is survived by her sister Marguerite Johnson, her niece Amy (Jay) Jenkins, her nephew Steve (Andi) Johnson, and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Kathy, and brother-in-law Arne Johnson.

Her family would like to give a huge thank you to the care givers who cared for her with so much love and became her second family.

Memorial Service:   1:00 pm  Saturday, November 23, 2019 at West Funeral Home & Life Tribute Center, West Fargo.   Visitation will be held one hour prior to her service.

Final Resting Place:  North Marion Reformed Cemetery, rural Marion, ND in the Spring.
