Jamie Lund

Jamie S. Lund, age 46, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 24th, 2019 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.

She was born July 12th, 1972 in Fargo to Larry and Eileen (Swenson) Lund. She was a 1990 graduate of West Fargo High School and a 1996 graduate of University of North Dakota in aviation. Jamie went onto become a flight instructor at Valley Aviation, flew freight at Fargo Jet Center, a pilot for Mesaba Airlines and later moved to Denver, CO where she became a supervisor at Jeppeson - A Boeing Company creating navigation for airports around the world.

Jamie loved being with friends and family, spending time at the lake cabin, playing piano, listening to music, flying at night, spending time with her nephews, playing games with her family, having girlfriend’s weekends and reading. Jamie’s joyful presence and wit lit up any room she was in.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry and survived by her mother, Eileen; a brother, Jeff (Angie) Lund, a sister Jill (Brian) Mattson, and her nephews, Tyler (Alina) Lund, Carter (Lynnsey) Lund, Caden and Trace Mattson.

Family, friends and all others whose life Jamie touched are invited to the West Funeral Home, 321 Sheyenne St. West Fargo, ND on Thursday, June 27th with visitation from 5-7pm and prayer service at 7pm and to Faith Journey Lutheran Church, 127 2nd Ave. E., West Fargo on Friday, June 28th with visitation from 10-11am and funeral beginning at 11am. Please join us to reminisce and support one another as we celebrate Jamie’s life and lift her to heaven.
