Eric C. Gould

Eric Carl Gould, 43, Horace, ND passed away on Tuesday, July, 3, 2018.  He was born in Grand Forks, ND to Garth and Lois (Bergman) Gould.  He grew up in Grand Forks and graduated from Central High School in 1993.  He attended technical college in East Grand Forks where he received his welding certification.  In 1997, he moved to Fargo and started his career with Case New Holland.  Eric married Cheri Woinarowicz on December 21, 2000 and they made their home in Horace with their two daughters.

Eric was known as a self-proclaimed “redneck engineer” who could fix nearly anything.  He was always busy working on projects for family and friends.  He was a quiet man to those who didn’t know him well.  To those who knew him best, he was full of life with a dry sense of sarcastic humor, the king of one liners with an infectious laugh.  He was an amazing husband and father who made his family his first priority.

Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife, Cheri and their two daughters, Brooklyn and Michalea; father, Garth (Maria) of Sun City, AZ; sister Patty Gould of Sandisfield, MA; brother, Troy (Kim) of Grand Forks, ND; along with his extended family.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois, several aunts, uncles, cousins and a nephew. 

Funeral:  Monday, July 9, 2018 at 11 AM at Horace Lutheran Church with reception to follow.  In lieu of flowers or other memorials, a GoFundMe page has been established for donation under Eric Gould Family.
