Elinor Meyer

Elinor M. Meyer, 97, Fargo, ND, died on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Bethany on University, Fargo.

Elinor Maude Meyer, one of eight children, was born on November 24, 192,1 in Fargo to Alfred H. and Margurite Meyer.  She attended grade school in West Fargo, but graduated from Turloc, CA High School.  Elinor had been sent to California by her parents as a teenager to help out a relative and ended up staying there 4 years.  After graduation she moved back to West Fargo and worked for Crane Johnson Lumber for about a year.   Elinor then began working for the ND State ASCS office in Fargo and continued employment there until she retired.  In 2003, Elinor moved to Bethany Retirement Living.

While she was working and during retirement, Elinor enjoyed extensive traveling throughout the US and Europe.   She was a member of Community Presbyterian Church, West Fargo.

Elinor is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and one sister.

Funeral Service:   2PM Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in Mavis Whiting Chapel, Bethany on University, Fargo, ND

Final Resting Place:  Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
