Beryl A Froemke

Beryl Froemke, 86, Fargo, ND died on Monday, on Jan. 13, 2020 at Essentia Health, Fargo.

Beryl Alfred Froemke was born March 3, 1933 near Sheldon, ND to Alfred and Ethel (Larson) Froemke. He grew up on the family farm and graduated from Enderlin High School in 1952. Beryl began farming at age 17 for 20 years. He then worked in sales before starting Froemke Builders and Distributors building many commercial buildings in the Fargo area. He married Janice Kiehn in 1972. They lived in West Fargo and Mapleton, ND. He returned to farming in the late 80’s. After Janice’s passing, Beryl married Judy Lee Berg on June 30, 1994. They lived in Fargo.

Beryl loved to work and never truly retired. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; three children, Cheri Wehrmann of Fargo, Del Froemke of Fargo and Mark Froemke of Sioux Falls, SD; granddaughter, Kaylie Albertson; Judy’s children, Lisa (James) Mitchell, Lynn Berg, Janelle (Juan) Christian and Kimberly (Don) Otos; step-grandchildren, Ava Mitchell, Owen Otos, Jada and Jordyn Christian; Janice’s children, Darlene (Blaine) Nichols, Dudley (Bente) Bartholow, Simon Bartholow, James Bartholow, Susan (John) Freeman and Brenda (Kevin) Leiseth; step grandchildren, Brad Bartholow, Stephanie and Thomas Bartholow, Craig and Wade Ruse and Jeffrey Leiseth.

Beryl was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Janice.

Visitation: Sunday, Jan. 19, 2020 from 3 to 5 PM with a prayer service at 5 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND.

Funeral: Monday, Jan. 20 at 11 AM at Faith†Journey Lutheran Church, 2nd Ave Campus in West Fargo with visitation one hour prior.

Burial: Enderlin Cemetery at a later date.
