Aldyth B. Hendrickson, 93, of Fargo, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at Villa Maria in Fargo surrounded by her family.
Aldyth Beverly Hendrickson was born May 4, 1926 in Fargo, ND, the daughter of Clarence and Mabel (Stuness) Gustafson. She was raised and attended school in rural Fargo until the family moved to Flom, MN then to Winger, MN. Aldyth graduated from high School in McIntosh, MN. Aldyth and Alton Hendrickson were married in Mahnomen, MN on July 29, 1945 and lived in Detroit Lakes for eleven years. The couple moved to West Fargo in 1958, where Aldyth was in direct sales. She moved to Villa Maria in April of 2015.
Aldyth was very dedicated to her family and loved the Lord. She was a Prayer Warrior, Jesus radiated in her. Through her work in sales, she met and made many friends. She was a problem solver. Aldyth was a fantasic cook and loved being in the kitchen baking, cooking, canning for her family.
Left to cherish her memory are sons: Bruce (Joyce) of Kindred, ND and Guy (Jaqueline) of West Fargo; daughters: Judy (Wayne) Nelson of Hawley, MN, LaDonna Judisch of West Fargo, Diane (Gary) Hoglin of Baxter, MN, Pam Hendrickson of West Fargo and Sonya (Matt) Clay of Sonora, CA; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother: Vernon Gustafson of Reno, NV; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were parents; husband: Alton on October 21, 2016; a grandson: Jason Clay; 2 great-granddaughter: Grace; son-in-law: Kenneth Judisch; sister: Myrtle Anderson; brothers: Palmer, Cecil and Eldon Gustafson.
Aldyth’s family wishes to sincerely thank Villa Maria for the excellent care received during her stay there.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 7, 2019, at West Funeral Home in West Fargo.
Visitation: 9:30 to 10:30a.m. prior to the funeral.
Burial: 2:30p.m. Thursday in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Mahnomen, MN
