Gary Bush

Gary Bush, 69, Fargo, ND died peacefully with family on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Sanford Health, Fargo.

Gary Yeomans Bush was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on July 16, 1947 to Sanford and Betty (Yeomans) Bush.  He grew up in New York and after graduation served in the US Army from 1966-1969 serving in Vietnam, resulting in his exposure to agent orange. In 1970, Gary married Janice Donegan in Poughkeepsie, NY. They had a daughter, Betty Jo. Gary worked for over 30 years as an over the road truck driver.  In 1982, he married Barbara Cron in Madena, NY. From their union came children, Cassandra, Tamara, Gary and Chris.  On April 25, 1998, he married Diane Kliner at Bonanzaville Church in West Fargo, ND. Gary hauled gravel locally and most recently worked for Lakeville Motor Express, retiring in 2010.  Gary enjoyed flat track motorcycle racing and working on motorcycles and especially enjoyed British motorcycles.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Bush, Fargo; four children, Betty Jo (RJ) Shook, Hyde Park, NY, Tamara Bush, Elizabeth City, NC, Gary Bush, Fargo and Christopher (Trista) Bush, Clarksville, TN; six grandchildren, Kyle & Thomas Shook, Simon Bush, Jackson Bush, Zayden Bush and Jakob Blais; a sister, Patty Holt, Columbia, MO; adopted sisters, Bobbi (Mike) Wilson, Carol (Roy) Sacket and Melanie (Delano) Goad; and brothers-in-law, Henry (Hazel) Kliner and Floyd (Jeanette) Kliner.

Gary was preceded in death by a daughter, Cassandra Bush Robinson; his parents and adopted sister, Suzie.

Funeral:  Saturday at 11 AM at West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo, ND with visitation one hour prior and reception to follow.             

Interment: Fargo National Veterans Cemetery.
