I feel privileged to have known and experienced many happy fun occasions with her. She was always happy and you could tell she traveled through life full of grace and light, because everywhere she went she shined bright. I miss her, even though I wasn't as close to her as others, I feel the void she has left in her passing.

I remember Carol as one of the charter members of the Elizabeth Circle at st. John's in Yankton. We had a lot of fun and good memories during those meetings as we studied God's word and shepherded our children. I remember how the boys would come dressed in their suits for church services and I believe I was probably the first to know that Carol was pregnant with Jenna and I know she was very excited about that. I missed Carol when they moved away and have thought of those days at Elizabeth Circle often. I'm glad her family was able to be with her at the end and I pray comfort for you all as you learn to live with her in a new way through your memories and the assurance that you will see her again in heaven.

I am so sorry for your loss. May you find strength in the love and support of family and friends. And may you find comfort in God's promise to soon undo 'all tears, mourning, pain and even death' Rev. 21:4. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
