Obituary

   Wayne Schultz, 85, of Fargo, N.D., died on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Fargo Elim Health Care Center, Fargo, N.D.

   Wayne Wyman Schultz was born on July 2, 1937, to Wyman and Agnes (Strobel) Schultz, in Waseca, MN.  He grew up on the family farm in southern Minnesota, was educated in Minnesota, and then joined the army.

   Following his military service, he worked in commercial, residential, and highway construction.  He also farmed near Red Lake Falls, MN, and upon his retirement, moved to Fargo, N.D.

   Wayne enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading publications on current events, music, and spending time with friends and family.

   Wayne is survived by his sister, Helen Wilson, Fargo, N.D.; a niece, Nancy Wilson-Norwood, Fargo; a nephew, Mike (Chenoa) Wilson, Mankato, MN; great-nephews, Mitchell Wilson, Tyler Norwood; a great-niece, Savanna Wilson; and a cousin, Eileen Wabner.

   He was preceded in death by his parents, Wyman and Agnes Schultz.

   Graveside Service: Monday, May 8, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, N.D.
