Vickie Tessin

   Vickie L. Tessin, 66, West Fargo, ND passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND surrounded by family.

   Victoria Lee Wells was born on February 14, 1955 at Philidelphia, PA to Huey and Dolores (Kusek) Wells Sr.  Her father was in the US Air Force so her family moved around a lot in her younger years.  Vickie attended East Grand Forks High School graduating in 1973.  She worked at an Insurance company in Grand Forks for a few years until she met and married Roger Tessin on September 26, 1976.  The couple moved to West Fargo where she began working for the West Fargo Insurance Agency.  Vickie worked here for 25 years.  She also worked for Western Insurance and Ihry Insurance until she retired 2019.

   Vickie was most proud of her five grandchildren and loved to attend their activities.  She also enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.  She loved to spend time scrapbooking and getting together with her sorority sisters, Beta Sigma Phi, volunteering at church, and riding around in her Mustang Convertible.  She was known for her smile and her kind heart.

   Vickie is survived by her husband of nearly 45 years Roger, of West Fargo, daughters Jessica (Jason) Wilm, of Spring Hill, KS, and Elizabeth (Troy Cusick) Tessin, of Dilworth, MN, grandchildren: Emma, Chase, Cooper, and Hudson Wilm, and Mason Cusick.  Other survivors include her mother Marge Wells, of Fargo, ND, and her siblings: Golda Rae (Wayne) Smith, of Duncan, OK, Cheryl (Jared) Heisler, of Kindred, ND, and Huey (Michelle) Wells Jr, of Maple Grove, MN.

   Vickie was preceded in death by an infant son Robert Douglas Tessin, father Huey Wells Sr., nephew Matthew Heisler, and niece Alysha Heisler.

Visitation: Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND.

Interment:  Wednesday, June 23, 2021 following the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
