Vicki Lemieux

Vicki Lemieux passed away unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

Vicki was born on April 23, 1965, in Anniston, Alabama. She was the daughter of Jon and Carolyn Rutherford. She graduated from Red River High School in 1983. She soon found a love of computers and technology and had spent the past 30 years with Border States Electric.

Vicki met the love of her life, Pat, in 1996. They were married in 1999 and together raised five children and three dogs. Their children, grandchildren, and dogs were the light of her life.

Vicki is survived by her father, Jon; husband, Pat; children, Kristina, Alexandra, Brittany, Zachary, and Hope; grandchildren, Charity, Faith, Mason, Zedd, Kayden, and Freyja; sisters, Marsha (Joe) and Jennifer (Ralph); sisters-in-law, Carol (Duane), Mary (Mike), Jane (Bobby) and Joan (George); brother-in-law, Mike (Shirley); and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Preceding Vicki’s death was her mother, Carolyn; and her dog, Shadow.

Vicki adored the outdoors. She enjoyed gardening and landscaping her yard with beautiful flowers. She also enjoyed going out with family and friends, gambling and playing BINGO, completing house projects, riding the “Spyder” with Pat, and helping others. Vicki loved the NDSU Bison and often attended football games. She can be described as being a very kind, caring, and supportive person who always went over and beyond what was needed.

As we celebrate Vicki’s journey of life, she would like everyone to remember her with a smile.
