Tonya Steeves

   Tonya Steeves, 61, of West Fargo, formerly of Minneapolis, MN, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in her home.

   Tonya Lee Tolzien was born on August 31, 1963 in Minnesota, to Dennis and Gloria Tolzien. She grew up in Spring Lake Park, MN, and graduated from high school there. Following high school, she became a mother, and worked for SRF, the Grain Exchange, and after moving to West Fargo, managed the Dollar Tree store.

   In 2007, she met her future husband Dean Steeves. They were married May 16, 2024.

   Tonya is survived by her husband, Dean; son, Brandon Tolzien; mother, Gloria Tolzien; and siblings, Tian (Roger) Foss, Terril (Lisa) Tolzien, and Travis Tolzien; many other extended family members; and her dog, Zoey.

   She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Tolzien.

Visitation: Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 12:00-1:00 p.m., in West Funeral Home, West Fargo.

Memorial Service: Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., in West Funeral Home, West Fargo.
