Tiffany A. LaCroix, 46, passed away unexpectedly after leaving work on Sunday, May 29, 2022.
Tiffany (Tiff) was born on December 13, 1975 to Kenneth and Patricia (Hedrich) LaCroix in Fargo, ND. She grew up and attended schools in Fargo, ND where she graduated in 1994 from Fargo South High School. Throughout her life, Tiffany mostly worked for charitable gaming organizations; most notably, 25 years for American Gold Gymnastics and the West Fargo Hockey Association at the M&J Saloon in West Fargo. Later in life, Tiff attended North Dakota State College of Science, where she obtained a nursing degree, which was an accomplishment that she was very proud of but never pursued further because of the freedom, independence, and love she had built with her M&J family.
Tiff was known for being a wonderful socializer– she was incredibly charming because of her friendly, humorous, and playful demeanor– which allowed her to meet a wide array of people and create many long-lasting friendships.
Her hobbies and pastime activities mostly revolved around spending time with her family and friends and participating in any activity that gave her an excuse to hang out and have fun. Tiff was also an avid Vikings football fan and was a season ticket holder for many years. These football games were especially exciting for her because she would often invite friends and family to travel out of town on weekend getaways with her. She loved watching her favorite TV shows and movies such as the ID channel, True Crime, The Walking Dead, and movies of the Marvel Universe; playing on softball, dart, or bowling leagues with her friends and colleagues; going on long walks; cuddling, squeezing, and spending time with her beloved dogs and cats; singing karaoke; or more recently, racking her brain on Friday trivia nights. She also had a newfound fascination with traveling and seeing what the world had to offer.
Anyone that knew her would agree that she had a kindness and compassion that extended to everyone around her. Her loud and goofy personality, along with the most genuine and contagious laugh you could ever imagine, left you only feeling positive in her presence.
Tiff touched the hearts of so many people and will be remembered and missed by those who knew her forever. She is survived by her beloved children (aka “the tootsies”): Zohji, Noah, and Myles; long-time friend and significant other, Shawn Ramsholm; father, Kenneth LaCroix; sisters: Natalie (Kyle) LaCroix Ostman and Stephanie (Mathew) LaCroix Potter; niece and nephew, Natasha and Kaleb Ostman; uncles: Sylvester LaCroix and Virgil Hedrich; aunts: Patty (Ross) Leaf, Darlene (Doug) Geller, and Lois (Keith) Leben; numerous cousins, including Veronica Leaf-Bellile and Mary Leaf (aka “Harry Neaf”); and countless friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia (Hedrich) LaCroix; grandparents: Clarence and Gloria (Rude) Hedrich, and Kenneth and Angela (Yankton) LaCroix; uncles: Stanley and Joseph LaCroix; aunt, Rita (Dean) Leaf, Sharon LaCroix, and Joyce LaCroix; great-aunt and uncle, Bob and Sharon Rude; and many cousins and friends, such as Steve Leaf and others. We would like to thank those that knew her for the continued love and support that they have extended to her family during this difficult time.
