Terry Lodoen

    Terry Lodoen, 74, Cormorant Lake, rural Audubon, MN, died October 22, 2023, at his home after a long illness.

   Terry was born January 25, 1949, in Fargo. In December of 1950, he and his parents, Clayton and Ilene (Holm) Lodoen, moved to West Fargo where he grew up.  He graduated from West Fargo High School in 1967. He then attended the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, for one year, and North Dakota State University, Fargo, for a time.

   Prior to moving to Cormorant Lake in April 2001, he had lived in Fargo where he was employed for many years in the physical plant at North Dakota State University.

   Terry is survived by his sister Becky (Don) Williams of Gering, Nebraska, his aunt Jan Holm of Minnetonka, MN, and several cousins.

   He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Ilene Lodoen, his grandparents Sig and Hattie Lodoen and Gust and Ida Holm, several aunts & uncles, his “like a brother” friend Owen Bensen, and his much-loved canines, Jack and Jill.

Visitation: Thursday, Oct 26, 2023, from 5:00-6:30 pm at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND.

Celebration of Life:  Thursday, Oct. 26th at 6:30 pm at West Funeral Home.

Interment:  Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND, on Friday, October 27th at 10:00 a.m.
