Sydney “Syd” Gene Thomas

Sydney, age 73 of West Fargo, ND,  passed away at Essentia Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Sydney was born in Breckenridge, MN, and raised in Lisbon, ND.   After high school he married Linda Norby and they had 3 sons, Jeffrey (Julie & 3 children), Ramsey, MN, Steven, Wahpeton, ND and Kevin, West Fargo.  Sydney is also survived by his wife Linda, West Fargo, and brothers Randy of SD and Mitchell of ND.  He was preceded in death by his  parents Gene & Marion.  

Syd will be remembered for his talent of making friends easily.    He drove for Bobcat 37 years and 9 years at General Equipment.  He enjoyed being with his family and visiting with his friends.

Funeral Service:  2:00 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2021, at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND, with Visitation held one hour prior to his service.  A Reception will follow the service.

Burial:  Lakeside Cemetery, Milnor, ND, at a later date
