Scott peters, 54, of Casselton, passed away at his home surrounded by family. He was under care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Scott was born in Miles City, MT to Robert and Joyce (Nelson) Peters. He spent most of his childhood in Laramie, WY. Following his high school graduation from Sydney High School, he attended NDSCS in Wahpeton. On October 22, 1994 he married Susan Jund. They made their home in Casselton. In 1999, they welcomed their beloved son, Zack.
Scott enjoyed playing with his son, swimming, biking, golfing, cooking, and comics. He was happiest with his son, his dogs and cats. He was kind and always willing to help anyone with anything.
He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Susan; his son, Zack; parents, Robert and Joyce (Nelson) Peters; father-in-law, Ray Jund; brothers, Don (Margie) Peters, Bob (Lisa) Peters, Roger (Dawn) Peters, Daryl (Lizzie) Peters; brother-in-law, Vaughn Jund; aunts Karen Boe, Donna Beuthien; and 9 nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate Scott’s life will be planned at a later date.
