Ronald Zimmerman

   Ronald L. Zimmerman, 80, Fargo, ND passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo.

   Ronald Lee Zimmerman, son of Israel and Anna Zimmerman was born December 13, 1940 in Ellendale, ND. He was the baby of 7 siblings and survived by his brother Jim Zimmerman (Eileen)and his sister Ester Dietz; also by his 5 children: Brian Zimmerman, Cyndi Zimmerman, Debbie Barra (Sam Garcia), Ronald David Zimmerman and Tammy Ferguson(Aaron), 2 step-daughters Laurie Matzke ( Brad) and Dawn Wipf( Levi) 10 grandchildren: Michael, Jenny, Emily, Justin, Amanda, Sean, Mark , Jaxon, Laylah and Floyd. He was saddened by the passing of his girlfriend Mary Field in 2012. He spent many years with her and her family.

   Ron farmed in his younger years and retired from Twin City Garage Door. Most people would remember him as a hard worker, He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also loved NASCAR and going to the local races. He loved his Fords! He liked to take his camper to the casino for country music concerts too. A good polka would get him grooving and moving. Ron had a good life and will be missed by his friends and family.
