Richard R. Fuller, Sr., age 98, passed away May 4, 2026.
Dick was born October 7, 1927, to Forrest and Jensine (Jensen) Fuller, the youngest of eight siblings. Dick went to school in West Fargo. He married Fern M. Kasin in 1946, and they lived on the family homestead until 1951, when they built a home in West Fargo. They were blessed with five children, three girls and two boys, as well as two foster boys.
Dick worked at Armour’s Meats as a welder before going to work for the City of West Fargo where he served as the West Fargo Superintendent of Public Works for 44 years. He was proud to serve as a volunteer fire fighter, on the West Fargo Park Board, Lions Club, Elks Club, and a lifetime member of the West Fargo VFW Auxiliary.
e enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and cooking on his smoker.
Dick was preceded in death by his infant son, Danny Ray, his oldest daughter, Judy Noe, son-in-law Alfred “Sonny” Noe, Fern Fuller, his parents, and seven siblings.
He is survived by his son, Richard (Rick) Fuller, Jr. (Bev), daughters Diane (Tom) Jacobson and Bonnie (Doug) Nitzkorski, eleven grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and special friend, Helga Bennett.
Funeral Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at West Funeral Home in West Fargo.
Visitation: An hour before the service.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fargo, ND
