Rebecca “Becky” Ann Lemna, 74 of Enderlin, ND passed away on November 20th, 2024 under the care of Hospice with her family by her side.
Rebecca was born February 21st, 1950 in Fargo, ND to Virgil and Joyce (Utke) Warner.
Rebecca grew up on a farm with her parents and sister. She attended Enderlin School, graduating in 1968. Rebecca attended Data Processing School in Fargo, then worked for two years at the State Highway Building in Bismarck.
On November 25th, 1972 Rebecca married Dennis Lemna in Alice, ND. Together they made their home in rural Enderlin where they raised their five children. Rebecca enjoyed gardening, canning and taking care of her turkeys. They moved to Enderlin in 1984 where Rebecca worked at the Enderlin Hillcrest Manor. She studied and became a certified nurse’s assistant and received a position at the North Dakota Veteran’s Home in Lisbon where she worked for 29 years until she retired in 2020.
In retirement, Rebecca kept busy with going to the Traxside Café everyday visiting with her friends. She enjoyed eating out as much as she could. Rebecca had a love for spending time watching her grandkids at their sporting and music events. She was extremely proud of all her children and grandchildren and spending time with her family was her pride and joy. -----
Rebecca is survived by her children: Rita (Mike) Legler of Dickinson, Melissa Pfaff of Enderlin, Dawn (Dean) Torbenson of Enderlin, Molly (Rick) Glarum, Gregory (Shari) Lemna of Leonard, 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and one unborn great grandchild.
Rebecca is also survived by her sister Virlyn and brother-in-law Gordon Hoff, sisters-in-law and many special nieces and nephews.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her parents, infant brother, husband Dennis, son Dwight and grandson Kevin.
Visitation will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Enderlin on Sunday, November 24th, from 6-7pm with a prayer service at 7 pm.
Funeral services will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Enderlin on Monday, November 25th at 10:30 am with Father Scott Karnik officiating.
Burial at Enderlin Cemetery following service.
