Raymond Langer, 96, West Fargo, N.D., passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021, at Bethany on University in Fargo, N.D., under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Raymond J. Langer was born November 15, 1925, to Emma (Zimprich) and Joseph Langer on a farm near Fingal, N.D.
He enlisted in the U. S. Army 1950, and was honorably discharged as a Corporal in 1952.
On October 7, 1953, he married Jacqueline Leona Schlief. She passed away in 2011.
He liked dancing, woodworking, playing cards, and putting puzzles together with his wife, Jackie.
Raymond is survived by his children, Michael Langer, Fargo, Suzette (Lowell) Mason, Kentucky, Sherry (Steve) Somsen, Courtnay, N.D., Kraig (Audrey) Langer, Mapleton, N.D., Shelly Kemmer, West Fargo; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie; 2 infant granddaughters, Britteny & Chelsey; 1 great-grandson, Keaton; his son-in-law, Kent Kemmer; his parents; 3 sisters; and 3 brothers.
Visitation: Thursday, December 2, 2021, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, West Fargo.
Service: Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, West Fargo.
Interment: Alice Community Cemetery – Alice, North Dakota.
