Ranee Lawson

   Ranee Ann (Ness) Lawson, 79, Fargo, ND died Friday, September 10, 2021 in Essentia Health, Fargo.

   Ranee was born on July 11, 1942, to Carl B. and Lenora (Moren) Ness.  At an early age they moved to Gilly, ND, then to Honeyford, ND, eventually arriving in Arvilla, ND. She married Floyd (Buck) Lawson on June 4, 1961, at Arvilla, ND. They moved to Fargo, then in 1964 to Casselton, ND where she worked for the Casselton Reporter. In 1974 they moved to Lisbon, ND where she worked at the Lisbon Gazette and as a Nurse’s Aide at the Lisbon Hospital.

   Ranee is survived by three daughters, Bernesia Radcliffe, Minneapolis, MN, Judith (Keith) Hage, Mesa, AZ, and Cynthia Eull, Buffalo, MN; eight grandchildren, Jason (Mallory) Radcliffe, Ashley (Tom) Carmody, Michael (Erica) Radcliffe, Mark Radcliffe & Gregory Radcliffe, Erin (Justin) Gowen, Jennifer (Bob) Eull and Ariel (Matt) Eull; 10 great grandchildren, one brother, Carlyle Ness of Arvilla, ND.

  She is preceded in death by her husband Floyd Lawson, brother Duane Ness, sisters Clarice Ness and Arlys Janke, and her parents Carl and Lenora Ness.

Visitation: Tuesday, September 14, 2021, from 4-7 p.m. in West Funeral Home, West Fargo.

Burial: Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., in Bellevue Cemetery, Larimore, N.D.
