Patricia "Patty" Jones

   Patricia “Patty” Lou Jones, 67, of Fargo, died on November 3rd, 2024 at Bethany in Fargo, ND. Patty was born July 6, 1957 to DewWayne and Joanne Jones, in Fargo. She attended school in West Fargo from kindergarten until she graduated in 1975. In high school she participated in gymnastics. Patty enjoyed growing up with her 6 siblings and loved them immensely. After high school she attended Joseph’s school of hair and design, where she graduated in 1978. She moved to Montana for 1 year before moving back to Fargo to be a beautician at DeLendrecie's. Patty also enjoyed doing people’s hair on the side for family and friends. 

   Patty enjoyed fishing at the Straight Lake family cabin in Osage, MN with her siblings, nieces and nephews. She was a pro at gutting fish and saving the hooks. Patty also enjoyed listening to music, latch hooking and shopping, she could always find the best deals. Patty loved cooking, baking cookies, and caffeine free diet coke. Patty enjoyed spending time with her family during Holidays and would frequently call just to chat. Although she had her struggles she always managed to have a great sense of humor. She was loved dearly by all who got to know her. Patty’s nieces and nephews meant the world to her as she didn’t have any children of her own. 

   Patty’s health started to decline in the spring of 2023. She could no longer live alone but found comfort in her new apartment at Bethany. While at Bethany she enjoyed playing bingo (if the prizes were more than 10 cents) and again, shopping.  

   Patty is survived by her siblings, Julie (Steve) Colby, Curt (Carol) Jones, Mickey Jones, Mary (Philip) Prevost, Kent (Dee) Jones, and Earl (Erin) Jones. She is survived by her 11 nieces and nephews, Isiah, Joshua (Keshia), Zachary (Nicole), Lisa (Nathan), Kayla (James), Morgan (Ryann), Christopher (Bretta), Adam (Jessica), Aryelle (Brian), Samuel and Kathleen and 13 great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by aunt Cheryl (Rudy) Meinhardt and uncle Doug (Mary) Jones.

   Patty is preceded in death by her parents, DewWayne and Joanne Jones, niece, Katie Jones and many aunts and uncles.

   Memorial Service: Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., in West Funeral Home, West Fargo, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

   Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
