Patricia Erickson

   Patricia Erickson, 77, of Fargo, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Bethany on University in Fargo.

   Patricia Anne Bergly was born on November 26, 1946 at Northwood Deaconess Hospital in Northwood, ND, to Harold and LaVerne (Haugen) Bergly.

   Patti grew up and attended school in Hatton, ND. She graduated high school in 1964. She attended Wahpeton State School of Science and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years, which included 29 years at MeritCare (now Sanford) in Fargo.

   She married David Vigen in 1966, and they had a son, Paul. They later divorced. She married Eldon Erickson November 22, 1980. They resided in West Fargo for many years.

   She is survived by her son, Paul (Sandra) Vigen; grandson, Ryan Vigen, Horace, ND; 2 sisters, Jean (Gary) Bjerke, Belvidere, IL, and Carol Lerfald, East Grand Forks, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

   She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and a sister, Roni.

   No services will be held at this time.
