Pamela Kotzbacher Obituary

Pamela Sue Kotzbacher (Huffman), age 78, of Alliance, Ohio, passed away peacefully in Fargo, North Dakota, surrounded by her loved ones, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will forever cherish her.

Pam was born in Alliance, Ohio to Bill and Jane Huffman. She grew up here with her sister, Patty, and attended Alliance High School and graduated in 1965. In 1976 she moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming, and here she raised her two sons, Robert and Michael. While living in Cheyenne, she worked for Dr. Clark’s dentistry and also for the State of Wyoming. In 2005, she moved back to Alliance, Ohio to be close to her family. She then moved to Fargo in 2025 to spend more time with her son’s family.

Pam was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her sons, Robert and Michael Kotzbacher (Nikki), her grandchildren, Mara and Seth Kotzbacher, sister, Patricia Johnson, and niece and nephew, Danielle, and Dustin (Jessica) Johnson. She is also survived by her former husband, Bob Kotzbacher, with whom she shared 46 marriage and the raising of their two sons.

Pam had a special love for the Denver Broncos, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. She also especially enjoyed the beauty and peacefulness of the Wyoming mountains, hot air balloon festivals, and decorating for the holidays.

Above all, Pam will be remembered for her deep love of family and the special place she held in the hearts of those who knew her. Her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, and family who loved her dearly. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

A private ceremony will be held by the family.
