Myrna Yvonne Green, 82, West Fargo, ND, went to her heavenly home on Monday, November 22, 2021, with her loving husband of 63 years by her side.
Myrna was born to Ole and Verna (Johnson) Goodman on October 28, 1939, in Rugby, ND. She grew up on the family farm in Bantry, ND, graduating from Upham High School in 1957. On August 3, 1958, she married the love of her life, Don Green, in Minot, ND. Don and Myrna made their home in Minot until 1966 when they moved to West Fargo.
After raising their daughters, (The 4 C’s - Carla Rae, Carrie Kae, Connie Faye, and Carmen Mae), Myrna entered the workforce in 1972 working at the NDSU Spectrum Newspaper and Dining Services for over 20 years, retiring in 1997.
Myrna was active in the West Fargo VFW Women’s Auxiliary for many years. She was very proud of her family. Her and Don loved to travel, winter in Arizona, golf, bowl, play cards, and spent many summers at the lake spoiling their 12 grandchildren. She had a passion for music and the Green Bay Packers, she loved to dance and was always the life of the party, which has definitely been passed on to her children as well as her grandchildren.
Myrna is survived by her husband, Don Green, her four daughters, Carla (Mike) Swenson, West Fargo, Carrie (Dan) Nielsen, Fargo, Connie (Gary) Tharaldson, Fargo, Carmen (Robbi) Foss, Oxbow, and eleven grandchildren, Jamie (Nate) Johnson, Kelsie (Shane) Fletcher, Donnie (Chelsey) Swenson, Stevi (Justin) Thompson, Jake Kinsella, Dani (Garrett) Smith, Max Foss, Bobbi (Nick) Clark, Gary Tharaldson II, Lexi Foss, and Grant Tharaldson, as well as a brother, Dennis Goodman, Mohall, ND, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Tanya Swenson.
